Hanle is a remote high-altitude village and mountain station located in the Ladakh region of northern India, at an elevation of approximately 4,500 meters (14,800 feet). Nestled in the Changthang plateau near the Indus River, it’s renowned for its astrophysical significance and serene natural landscapes.

Puga Valley, nestled in the Changthang Plateau of southeastern Ladakh, is a captivating geothermal haven celebrated for its steaming springs, mineral-rich terrain, and high-altitude wilderness (). Situated roughly 160–180 km southeast of Leh at an elevation of around 4,300–4,400 m, its unique landscape stretches approximately 15–30 km in length and up to 1 km in width

Historically, Leh was a major stop on the old Silk Route, linking Central Asia with the Indian subcontinent. Today, it attracts travelers with its unique blend of spiritual heritage, dramatic landscapes, and vibrant markets. Must-visit attractions include the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, and bustling bazaars offering handicrafts and traditional Ladakhi goods.
